Meet the creators of Caboodle! Toys and Noah's Pals™.
Steve was raised as a child in Kent, Ohio
and as a teen in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
From an early age, he demonstrated a
passion for business. On many Halloweens,
young Steve dressed as a business man,
clad in a charcoal suit with his dad’s
briefcase in tow, while trick-or-treating.
Today, when he’s not calculating ROIs, Steve bleeds black & gold
Favorite Animal
Other than their detestable smell (hopefully), I have a special bond with skunks. They tend to be solitary, and I am an only child. Skunks have poor eyesight, and without my glasses I can’t even see the massive letter “E” in the optometrist’s office.
Humbling Animal Moment
On a beautiful summer day in New York’s Central Park, I was enjoying a picnic with a friend under a very large, beautiful tree. While resting on my stomach and reading a book, a squirrel fell from the high branches and crashed through the leaves… And landed right on my butt. Sadly, the little guy didn’t survive the fall despite the (relatively) soft landing.
Finance and entrepreneurial management as an undergrad at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business. Before Caboodle! Toys, I spent the past seven years as a business strategy consultant.

Steve dedicates this venture to his grandparents, who through their entrepreneurial small businesses have inspired him to do the same.
Janet was raised in the Soho
neighborhood of Manhattan, where she
led an exuberant, gymnastics-filled youth.
After a lengthy absence from New York,
Janet once again calls Soho home. She
insists that “there is [a] there there”
and that perhaps “you can . . . go home
again.” Janet frequently traipses through art galleries,
Favorite Animal
While not the largest feline, jaguars are the most powerful members of the cat family. I (perhaps mistakenly) consider myself a strong individual for my size. Jaguars are also stylish with their orange-yellow background coat, numerous rosettes on their flanks, and spots on their head and neck. I try to dress stylishly (though not in animal prints), and I have lots of freckles on my shoulders and back.
Favorite Toys and Games
My favorite word game is Boggle. I appreciate the simplicity of Boggle’s 4×4 design, the quickness of play, and the intense focus required during the three minutes of play.
I hold a BSE in electrical engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business of the University of Pittsburgh, and a JD from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University. Prior to my reincarnation as a toy entrepreneur with Caboodle! Toys, I practiced intellectual property law for six years. I am a member of Women in Toys.

Janet dedicates this venture to her very precocious and precious six-year-old niece, Olivia, whose joie de vivre and childlike innocence fill Janet’s heart with exhilaration.
